Dogs at the campsite

At Vikær Strand Camping there is room for the whole family, and dogs are very welcome at the campsite. The nature on and around the campsite offers good conditions for those who are on holiday with a dog. There is the possibility of both short and long walks, whether you are going for a walk in the forest or on the beach.

We have several facilities for dogs:

Fenced dog playground, where dogs can play without a leash

Dog bath where the dog can be washed after a walk on the beach

Water bowl at reception and kiosk

Dog bags available in several places on the campsite

Dogs are welcome on almost the entire campsite. You are also welcome to bring your dog with you in the cabins. The dog is welcome on the beach and of course also likes to bathe. However, it must be kept on a leash.

Service buildings, playgrounds, reception and kiosk are dog-free areas.

There are many pleasant walking routes in the area around the campsite. We can also recommend the Lerskov Plantage Dog Forest, which is a fenced dog forest. Here the dogs can play and you can go for a nice walk. The plantation is located approx. 9 km. from the campsite.
